Meet the girl behind the lens…
Kendall Larson, Owner/Hartland, WI Photographer
Hey! I am Kendall, and these are my two kids Anthony (8) and Rylee (3). Being a young mom I was never able to afford quality portraits of my own kids, but I loved taking their pictures. Even when my son was a baby I would put a chair outside and take pictures with my cheap-o camera or flip phone, at this point I never thought of photography as a career but after having my daughter the creative spark struck me again. When Rylee was just a few days new I tried my hand at taking her newborn portraits, and soon after a lot of my friends were asking me to take their kiddos pictures too. A little over a year later in June of 2015 Birth & Beyond by Kendall made it’s debut and what a wild ride it has been! I have had the honor of capturing countless newborns, babies, families, and special moments for my family members, my friends, and clients that have become friends. It is truly so special to be a part of so many people’s lives capturing their most precious creations, their children. I honestly can say I have the best job EVER!
I have lived in the Lake Country / Waukesha County area my whole life, we are so lucky to live in an area that has so many beautiful gems for portraits. My portrait studio is located in the Hartland Industrial Park, it is a cozy studio perfect for capturing newborns, babies, and toddlers. At my Hartland studio I provide many props and strive to make the session as easy for the parents as it can be, I have a comfy couch for parents to sit back and relax while I focus on getting those amazing portraits of their sweet littles. For outdoor sessions I love using many places all around Waukesha County, some of my top favorites include Waukesha Frame Park Floral Gardens, Waukesha Retzer Center, Lisbon Community Park, and Nixon Park in Hartland.
